I created this one for Michelle WENTWORTHS GAL over on you tube

This portrait did take 3 attempts before its completion this the third try took 5 days to complete 

Even if the world is gloomy

there's no need to feel all doomy.

Just take a look around

at all the beauty to be found.

And if you have the time,

to make some one else smile.

Get out some stickers and some glue,

some papers and gems too.

Mix them up with love and care

and create something to share.

Hi Everyone I was inspired by the wonderfully talented Rachel 

her wonderful video featured above shows you a FANTASTIC star book she created and i ws so inspired that i decided to make my own here are some pics of my 

STAR BOOK.

I used a few images from the greeting farm a bbc coloring image, a pollycraft image and a lovely pink cat studio bird image

I used a lovely brown card although some how on the photo the colours have not rung true

but my card is brown (honest)

I used a lovely FREEBIE image from

the wonderfully talented

I created a scalloped edge with vanilla hearts

and added some pink bling

with it being a colour challenge i

only wish the colours showed better..

A pain in the neck

quite literally.

and no crafting for me today..(sigh)

due to a particulary  bad flare up of my cervical spondylosis i am in a bit of pain today and have lost the mobility in my neck and upper back..I tried making an atc this morning for a swap i am hoping to join over at,

addicted to atc's
but had to abandon it half way through due to the pain..i wasn't very happy with it either..

I am also really struggling with the theme too...i just simply have not got a clue..unless i make another 3 similar to my dress it up swap..maybe?

anyway luckily i have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow.

anyway SORRY for the moan.

at least i can still surf a little and check out all the lovely cards you ladies create

I have created 5 atc's one for myself and four for the swap

here are the four i have created for the swap

each atc has been stitched with either beads or sequins 

The first atc contains my own hand felted material and the  last two atc's contain my own hand dyed material which i then stamped

I had such fun creating these atc's

Hi Jan Here..I was double thrilled and delighted this week as not only did the lovely 

PATTI MOORE 

give me one of her beautiful digi stamps to play with detailed here

But I also was lucky enough and SUPER THRILLED to win one of the lovely

  PINK CAT STUDIO digis too.

I set to work and only hope my humble creations does both these lovely digi stamps justice.

I used elements of the lovely PATTI MOORE DIGI 

to highlight the thank you on the inside of my easel card as i thought the mail box and birdie was so cute.

We dont have mail boxes like this in the UK and i just think they are fabulous and  so quaint..lol

Both of my images printed out so beautifully and were super easy to do so if you have never used digi stamps before please give them a whirl.

I coloured my TWEET ON A BRANCH image with my prismacolour markers and added depth with coloured pencils (faber castell)

and of course added some bling.
