The Purple Turtle ACEO.

I love turtles as at times of great vulnerability they are a great symbol of protection. I created this one using prismacolor watercolour pencils and pigment ink to outline the areas.I chose the colour purple as it symbolizes the amethyst the stone wich enhances our inner intuition and like the turtle teaches us to go within ourselves to find our own strengths, talents and truths. But also in psychology terms the colour purple is quite a spiritual colour and is often favoured by artists poets and writers as well as actors and thespians. A truly creative colour
